is it true? that happiness comes with sacrifice?
What is happiness anyway? Getting what you want when you want? or is it, Just not being lonely and having to face this world alone? What makes you happy? receiving something new from your parents or friends? Getting a hug by someone you love? Knowing that, the person you love Loves you back just as much?
Happiness to me. Happiness to me has got nothing to do with physical possessions. Surely, everyone loves to have something new. But by that doesn't mean they're happy.
Experience thought me that HAPPINESS DOES COME WITH SACRIFICE. It is connected, like a white lie connects to a blue lie, and eventually will become a black lie which we cannot escape from. We can never find true happiness without at least a little bit of sacrifice. I am sorry.
Like someone told me before, its either you sacrifice yourself to make the person happy, or you sacrifice the person so that you'll be happy. I finally understood what that meant. And how it was literally connected to my life's experiences. If i love that person, i would surely sacrifice myself to make that person happy, but we all know we are humans - humans need a little something in return ANYWAY. Its impossible for a human to have - God's Agape - humans have - Human Agape - which is quite similar to God's Agape, just that it does require a very small "return", unlike the Eros that requires the full "return".
I am sorry because i'm human i failed to give God's Agape. But i would give the Agape that i am capable of giving. It was because i was neglected that i fell.
I want to be happy, i am happy now. :)
