The Miracle.

"Miracle".

I want to testify that God indeed answer prayers.

My son Corey Luke Long Hean Sim has since young set his heart on being a pilot and had applied for Cadet Pilot position MAS after his SPM.

God is gracious and faithful. He has sent along angels in the form of friends and collesgues to help with the long process of application and interview.

First interview psyco-motto test, of the 4 tested in his group only he passed the test and was called for the 2nd interview. Praise God.

The second interview ,MIspar/ Phyco-metric test was a long and gruelling multifaceted test that checks personality discipline and intelligence compatibility for the job of a pilot.

He had scored low for the test and we we anxious about whether he would be called for the third interview.

We continue to pray for him.

About 2 months after the 2nd interview he received a call asking him to avail himself for the 3rd and final interview on the 5 Dec 2007.

We give all glory to God.

The timing however was poor as I was in Stockholm unable to help him prepare for the interview.

My family had to attend wedding of a relative in Kota Kinabalu. They returned on Sunday and the following Monday was the interview.

Not sufficient time to prepare.

I did the best thing I could do for him, seek Gods intervention.

I SMS my cell leader, pastor, christian friends and family to pray for him.All prayer warriors in their own right .

To make interviewers favour him.

Ask God to give him wisdom to give the right answers and to give him the peace, calm and confidence during the interview.

However the first thing that he said to his mother when he came out of the interview was "it would be a Miracle if they pick me".

Sophia's heart sank, we were both extremely disappointed but believed that whatever the outcome it is Gods' Will.

3 weeks past without any news. We continue to pray for Gods' will for Coreys future.

I had started to receive confirmation ,firstly after speaking to Corey about the interview , the following week I had flew with a pilot who said "the third interview was only formality"

(which is not true as we know of many who failed even in that interview.). I sensed that God would be answering our prayer and was about to receive a Miracle.

One afternoon after the Christmas Holidays Corey came into the office while Sophia and me were doing some paperwork.

"Good news " he said "Guess what?" I replied qustioning "MAS has accepted you?"

"How did you know" Corey asked .We shared the joyous news by hugging each other, Corey jumped up and praise God

and thanked Him for His goodness. We then sms all who had prayed for us .

If God is for us nothing can be against us.

We the Long family would like to thank you for your prayers. God answers the prayers of the righteous.

Nothing is beyond him, even a MIracle when it is needed.

Corey will be doing his medical on the 16/1/08. Do continue to pray for his successful completion of the course for commercial pilot license.

About 18 months.

It you have a burden today, pray to God and continue to PUSH.(pray until something happens).

God is faithful and answers our prayers according to His will. Dont get discouraged if answers does not come immediately.

(The whole process of interview took about 8 months.)

Phillipians 4:6,7

" Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.

And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
