it was called the familiarization sortie. where you get a feeling of going into the skies, turning a little and stuff like that in that small little aircraft.
sortie - is a word you might not have heard before, but it means "flight". its a military term and its used very commonly here.
Famil sortie was only 30mins. it was easy, i mean i didn't do much. my instructor allowed me to turn a little and pitch up and down a little. thats it.
i got it bad on my 2nd sortie. i didn't know i suffer from air-sickness. that really sucks, especially when i'm going to be a pilot for the rest of my life.
good thing they said air-sickness is a common thing in small aircrafts especially. its like a rollercoaster in there. it will take me about 6hours of flying i should be able to get rid of my air sickness totally.
hope it will be fast. right now the weather is really bad.
the horizon isn't really visible due to the haze. Here in Kedah its the time when people burn the padi. because of the season, the sunny and hot season. it hasn't rained for more than a week now. its like the desert in the afternoon. extremely hot.
