Tell me, What kind of a game is this?
to me it is a game that involves, "i, me and myself". Its such a self-centered game it only involves an individual when they play it. Only thinking about, "when am i going to increase level", "when will i be stronger", "when can i buy this item", "WHEN CAN I". Thoughts as such only makes them want to play even more. What a waste of time! They don't learn anything from it. All they do is HIT monsters all day long, trying to increase their level. Maybe once in a while chatting in their game - Chatting about the game itself.
My brother Ryan is so addicted to Maplestory, that he would lie to my parents just to stay home so that he may get a chance to play maple. Because of such a game, he has an anger management problem. whenever he doesn't get it HIS WAY when he WANTS TO PLAY MAPLESTORY, he throws tantrum and starts shouting at people. And also beating them. He beats me. I Dislike it. I want to delete this stupid game. but guess what.. JOSHUA LONG plays it too. Why does he play? cuz his GIRLFRIEND does. Even right now when i'm typing out this post, Ryan is shouting at my mother. Why? He's frustrated that i had to take over the computer. Because he wants to continue downloading his Maplestory Client. My conclusion is that people who play Maplestory don't learn anything but bad things. they learn to throw their anger and disrespect older people. This is the reason why i dislike them.
on the other hand,
Games like Defense Of The Ancients and Counter Strike, games that i play does enhance certain abilities in a person. Games like these teaches teamwork to the gamers. Even in games like this, there are leadership skills involved. On top of that, games like these also enhance hand-eye coordination and reflexes. Furthermore, games like this don't take up too much of your time. A single game of DotA can only stretch up to a maximum time of an hour an a half. But a game like Maplestory, the people who play them just want to play it all day. without stop.
Although there maybe many other cons in playing games like these also, its certainly better than playing a game such as MAPLESTORY.
The Bottom line is,
DO NOT PLAY MAPLESTORY!
