our initial plan was to go Genting last Thursday, on the 25th of September. reason was because it isn't peak season - and if we were to go on the following week it might be packed because of Raya holidays. but we didn't manage to go on Thursday. instead, we postponed our trip to the following Monday (29/9/08). [we almost wanted to postpone our trip to the following monday because it would be less packed then - on the 6th of Oct - but we didn't. ]
Monday came. I woke up at 4.30a.m. went back to sleep and woke up again at 6a.m. (mind you i was suppose to wake up at 6.30a.m) i went back to sleep again for another 30mins then i finally woke up. i guess i was too excited about the trip. haha! anyways, i left my house at 6.45a.m to reach Michelle's house at 7a.m. Had breakfast, then her mom sent us both to the KTM station in Shah Alam.
We then made our way to KL Central by train. We then bought our "day tour" tickets and waited for the bus - that's just the summary. what really happened was - we reached the tickets counter at about 8.15a.m. We were blessed to not have to que up to get our tickets! we bought the 8.30a.m tickets and waited by the bus. our seats numbers were 39+40. there was only 44 seats in the bus. again, we were so blessed to have reached on time to be able to get on the 8.30a.m bus ride to genting skyway. 5minutes after we bought our tickets there was a humongous group of people lining up to get their tickets. Clearly it wasn't luck.
it was perfect.
it took us about 1hour and 45mins to reach Genting. When we did, we immediately got our theme park passes and enjoyed ourselves at the theme park. We didn't need to que up for the tickets AGAIN. haha! :) we were so happy.. because the ticket booth was really really long. it would have tooken us HOURS if we had to wait.
about 1.30p.m we took a break from the theme park and headed to Starbucks for a drink. it was then when i recieved "The Phone Call". it was MAS! They called to let me know that my intake is on the 20th of October. I was so glad they finally called. i am finally pursuing my dream. Thank You God.
everything was in its place. it was perfect. so perfect that almost every ride we sat on that day, we were the first in line to choose where we wanted to sit. we enjoyed ourselves, i got my phone call, we didn't choose to postpone our trip to the following Monday (i am having my breifing on that day) and we were able to catch an earlier bus home. We reached home safely and had good rest.
