the teachers.

in this post, i'm going to try and describe what i see in my instructors. and also, a picture of how they look like! :) haha.

okay here goes.

i have a total of 5 ground instructors. (for my ppl course that is)
1. Pravesh - Theory of Flight, Engines, Instruments.
2. Chaturyen - Meteorology, Air Frames, Loading and Performance.
3. Dev Kakra - Navigation, Radio Aids, Electrics.
4. Mathew - Radio Telephony.
5. Pat Naik - Air Law.


ok so here's the deal.

Pravesh Kumar
he is self-conflicting. straight forward, fast, loud, strict and funny at times. (but not the casual funny, usually the sarcastic funny) he has a tendency of lowering your self-esteem in hopes you will be a better person yourself. he doesn't stop talking bad things about you if he does find fault in you. he doesn't like people asking him questions about the things you are yet to learn about later on but he teaches well.(although too fast @_@) He never smiles and is from Indian Airforce. (ex)











Goutam Chaturvedi
he is tall, not strict unless you are not up to expectations, give you more time to copy from the powerpoint presentation, monotonous and can be boring sometimes. He is from the Indian Airforce. (ex)
















Dev Kakra
he seems much older than the two above, makes monotonous lectures and because of that everyone sleeps in his class. he never really bothers changing the powerpoint presentation slides because he's too busy making everyone fall asleep. Even those who aren't sleepy would fall asleep listening to him. Sometimes the things he say we don't even understand and when you ask him a question about it he will repeat himself over and over trying to explain it - the same way he did when you didn't understand it. he is from the Indian Airforce. (ex)










Mathew
he is a slow talker. he takes his time to talk, to walk, to answer questions too. he is patient, respected and friendly. One of the cool instructors among all. he is from the Indian Airforce. (ex)










Pat Naik
he is fat, obese. (probably due to excessive drinking) he has a cute voice and a huge double chin (fat chin). to me, he looks somewhat like a frog :D. he is kinda strict(but less than pravesh), but he can be funny sometimes because he looks funny. his classes are WAY BORING. once my batch-mate mogan said he looks like a teletubby. LOL. he is from the Indian Airforce as well. (ex)

i found that they have a similar way of speech. these few phrases are used by them quite often.

1. In respect with...
2. with reference to...
3. any doubts?
4. as far as ... is concerned,...
5. please understand - mostly pravesh.
